    This was a great dinner! We had the Seattle Roll, chicken breast teriyaki, and bbq pork fried rice. Everything was very fresh. There was miso soup served before the meal and it was great too! Price was reasonable. The only complaint is the salt and pepper shakers were very dirty from customers sticky fingers. There was teriyaki sauce on the table though in a serve yourself bottle. This place was basically PERFECT. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the waitress was too hurried and forgot to bring me a side of spicy sauce for the chicken. I will certainly come back this is going to be my new place for teriyaki!

    The Kung Pao Chicken was gross. The pieces had lots of connective tissue and were huge - not what you want in good Kung pao. Extremely disappointing.

    My go to because they have options whether I want sushi or teriyaki, or both. Both are decent here. Price is medium ranged. Service is okay. I like to go in here and order my food and watch a movie on my phone. Weird but ohwell that's me and they let me do it lol

    I have been eating from Happy Teriyaki both before and after their remodel.  I wouldn't say there's a huge difference in the food now vs before, but some people say they liked it better before.  In my opinion it's as good as teriyaki gets in the Lakewood area for sure.  I can't comment on the sushi though as I've never had it, but the teriyaki both chicken and beef is really good.  Perfect portions to fill you up and leave you with some leftovers, prices are good also.  The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean, though I usually just get to go orders.  Recommended to anyone looking for some good teriyaki...

    Good but went a few days ago and ordered a chicken teriyaki for about $9, just checked bank statement and was charged 16.99 when i had clearly put 0 for tip. As i left that in cash, unfortunately lost receipt but wont be back again!
